Free F3 Cloud trial server
What a trial server is good for
A trial server is useful if you need to quickly check how a script works, test a configuration or perform one-off tasks. It is suitable for checking code and the environment without the risk of damaging the main server, for debugging and experimenting with settings, for testing performance and network parameters, as well as for learning and practising administration.
The trial is provided free of charge for 24 hours with full root access.
When the period ends, the server is deleted automatically.
How to get a trial server
- Register at f3cloud.com and add the server you need to the cart.
- Create a request to technical support via tickets and state that you need a trial server. In the request, be sure to include the email you used to register, the selected location and plan, and also confirm that the server has already been added to the cart.
- After confirmation from the support team, a staff member will activate the trial period and launch the server. The access details (IP address and connection parameters) will be sent to your email and/or become available in the instructions in the client area.
Connection example
Once you have received the details, you can connect to the server via SSH.
Use the following command in the terminal:
ssh root@your-test-server-ipInstead of your-test-server-ip, enter the IP address you received upon activation.
After logging in, you will be able to install the software you need, check scripts and test configurations.
If you use Windows, macOS or a mobile device, you can connect via the Termius app.
For step-by-step instructions, see the article Connecting to a server via the Termius SSH client.
