Enabling F3 Cloud automatic payments
What you will need
- A card that supports recurring payments and 3D Secure, or a positive balance on your personal account
- Access to the Finance and Client sections in the F3 Cloud panel
- An active service that needs to be renewed
INFO
The names of items in the panel may differ slightly between locales. The logic of the steps remains identical.
Enabling auto-renewal for a service
- Open Finance → Service auto-renewal
- Select the service
- Click Edit
- Switch Auto-renewal to the enabled state
- Specify the debit method – card or personal account
- Set the renewal period – for example a day, a month or longer
- Click Save
- Check the service status
How to choose the debit source
- Card – the debit is made automatically, the bank may request confirmation when the card is being linked
- Personal account – the money is debited from the balance. A sufficient amount must be on the balance at the moment the service is renewed.
INFO
For debits to be made from the right card, mark it as primary in Client → Payment methods.
How to add or replace a card
- Go to Client → Payment methods
- Click Add card
- Enter the details, complete the bank's verification
- If necessary, set the card as primary
Checking and monitoring
- In Finance → Service auto-renewal, make sure the service is visible in the list and marked as enabled
- In the service card, check the current renewal period
- In the Invoices section, check whether any unpaid invoices remain for past periods
When the debit happens
The debit is usually made closer to the end of the paid term. If auto-renewal is enabled and funds are available, the service is renewed automatically for the selected period.
INFO
If there are not enough funds on the card or on the personal account, the renewal will not take place. Please top up the account or update the card in advance.
How to disable auto-renewal
If you need to stop automatic payments, open the separate guide Disabling automatic payments and follow the steps.
